Appeals Process

If you believe a decision about your account or content was wrong, here's exactly how to ask us to look again.

Last updated: July 17, 2026 · Version 1.0

Moderation decisions on AYE Market are made by people, and people can make mistakes or lack context. This page explains how to formally contest a decision you disagree with.

1. What you can appeal

2. How to file an appeal

Email ayetechub@gmail.com with:

  1. The account, listing, or report ID involved (whatever identifier is shown to you in the app for that item).
  2. Which decision you're appealing and roughly when it happened.
  3. A clear description of why you believe the decision should be reconsidered — new context, evidence, or an explanation of what happened.

Where the relevant screen in the app offers a built-in "appeal" or "dispute this" option, you can use that instead — it reaches the same review process.

3. What happens during review

A member of our team who did not make the original decision re-reviews your case, including any evidence you provide. We may reply asking for more information or clarification if what you've sent isn't enough to reassess the decision.

4. Possible outcomes

Filing an appeal is a genuine review, but it does not guarantee reversal. We aim to be fair and consistent, not to automatically side with whoever appeals loudest or most often.

5. Timeframe

We review appeals as promptly as we reasonably can. Straightforward cases are usually resolved quickly; cases needing more evidence or a closer look may take longer. You can always follow up on an open appeal by replying to the same email thread.

6. Abusive or bad-faith appeals

Appeals are meant to correct real mistakes, not to pressure or exhaust our team into reversing a correct decision. Filing repeated, clearly bad-faith, or abusive appeals about the same resolved matter may itself be treated as a violation of our Terms of Service and can lead to further enforcement action.

7. Governing law

This Appeals Process is governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this process as our moderation tools evolve, including if a dedicated in-app appeal option is introduced. Material changes are reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
